Junior AI Software Developer – Lisbon or Coimbra

Job Description

Our engineering team is developing new platforms that combine cutting-edge technology, user-centered design, and the power of artificial intelligence, and to accomplish the best result we need your help!

We are now looking for a talented developer in Lisbon (Caparica) or Coimbra for a new AI Software Developer position in our team and to help us develop and deploy intelligent, personalized features for our OTT (over-the-top) solution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Architecting and implementing personalization engines and recommendation systems powered by AI;
  • Developing smart systems for real-time user behavior analysis;
  • Integrating computer vision algorithms into Magycal’s solutions;
  • Work closely with our product management, marketing and design teams.
  • Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems.

Required

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or currently completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Passion for delivering great user experiences.
  • Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including model experimentation and analysis, data preprocessing and transformation and algorithm optimization.
  • Experience with Computer Vision, especially in object detection, image segmentation and real-time video analysis.
  • Experience in Python and JavaScript;
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is valued.
  • Openness to learn and apply new technologies and skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.

Location

Lisbon (Caparica) or Coimbra, Portugal (work from either of our offices).

Magycal’s headquarters location was carefully selected.
