Magycal has officially entered the highly competitive US OTT market, marking a major milestone in its international expansion.
The Portuguese technology leader in streaming and interactive broadcast solutions announced its entry into North America through a strategic partnership with global video tech giant, Kaltura. The first major project under this operation materializes with the launch of the “Billy Graham” streaming platform.

This solution is built on 100% Portuguese, market-proven technology that already powers top-tier streaming services and major broadcasters in Portugal, such as SPORT TV, OPTO (SIC), and Panda+ (Dreamia).
The solution developed by Magycal enables live streaming and video-on-demand (VOD), transforming traditional viewing into a highly interactive and customizable environment equipped with advanced audience engagement features.
For Jorge Guedes, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) of Magycal, entering this new continent validates the maturity of the company’s engineering. “Reaching the United States is no accident, it is the result of a long-term internationalization strategy executed with firm steps” he states. “The robustness of our platform allows us to compete and succeed in the most demanding market in the world. With this launch, we officially open the door to North America, and this is certainly just the first of many steps we will take in this geography.”
With this strategic move, Magycal not only expands its international footprint but also elevates “Made in Portugal” technology within the global media and entertainment ecosystem, proving its capacity to meet the infrastructure and scaling demands of the North American market.
