Magycal and SPORT TV were recognised with an award for Best in Broadcast Distribution at the SportsPro Media Awards 2025 for SPORT TV’s streaming infrastructure. We were also finalists for Innovation of the Year with SPORT TV’s Smart Moments and Best Emerging Tech Company for our work in driving fan engagement and monetisation.

Magycal and SPORT TV won the award for Most Innovative Digital Solution in the Culture & Heritage category in Portugal at the World Summit Awards. This recognition celebrates our work in transforming the way fans engage with sports content through innovative technology and user-centred design.

Magycal made a memorable impact at IBC 2025 with the World Piggy Race, a live demonstration that brought our solutions to life in an unexpected way. Races were streamed on our OTT platform with interactive voting across devices and real-time engagement that had visitors cheering for their favourite pigs. We were finalists for the Best

Magycal added Live Activities and lock screen widgets to the SPORT TV app, letting fans follow matches in real time — even from their lock screens. A major leap in delivering real-time, non-intrusive sports content through iOS-native features.

The new Liga Portugal app and website are here, delivering real-time match updates, exclusive content, and personalised club experiences. With a powerful Back Office, the league can now customise content, notifications, and match data, making it a dynamic platform built for true football enthusiasts.

Magycal took home the Boldest Design award at the 2025 Bold Awards, celebrating our work on Sport TV’s reimagined identity and product experience. It’s an honour to see our creativity and UX innovation recognised on a global stage.

Our latest innovation, TVI Pass, marks a significant shift in how viewers interact with television. Developed in collaboration with TVI, this app integrates contests into regular programming, allowing viewers to participate anytime directly from their devices. With TVI Pass, every episode invites you to be a part of the story.

This time we headed to Europe’s leading media event, IBC 2024 in Amsterdam. Not only were we able to showcase our OTT and Second Screen Experiences in our very first stand, but Pedro took the stage to introduce two brand new innovative features developed for sport tv: Smart Info and Smart Moments.

Magycal successfully launched Smart Moments in the sport tv app, that empowers users to create and share their favourite sports clips. What sets it apart is its AI-powered capability to automatically generate key moments, learning from user engagement to continually improve its selections.
