The official Liga Portugal app and website were launched, offering fans real-time match updates, exclusive content, and personalised experiences.
SPORT TV: Live Activities and Widgets
Live Activities and Widgets are now live on the SPORT TV app! This powerful update brings match action directly to your lock screen, with automatic goal notifications that light up your phone instantly. Plus, customisable widgets let fans build their perfect home screen with live scores, upcoming matches, and one-tap access to channels.
SIC Notícias: Vertical Stream
SIC Notícias now delivers news in vertical video format, allowing viewers to minimise the video while browsing other content or exploring the rest of the app.
TVI Reality: Liquid Glass
The TVI Reality interface was adapted to iOS’s new Liquid Glass design, bringing fluid, translucent interfaces that dynamically respond to touch and light. The app features AI contestant recognition, alongside real-time voting, 24/7 chats, and intuitive shortcuts, delivering a premium, immersive, and visually appealing experience for fans.
IBC 2025: Piggy Races and Real Connections
IBC 2025 was all about building connections with partners and gathering insights that will shape Magycal’s future.
Our stand became the talk of the show thanks to the World Piggy Race. Beyond the entertainment, it served as a powerful demonstration of how our OTT and Second Screen solutions transform ordinary content into captivating, interactive experiences.
We were also finalists in the Best Stand Awards, and our CEO took the stage for a panel discussion on engaging next-generation viewers, sparking valuable conversations with industry leaders.
Growing Presence: New Office in Coimbra
Magycal is growing! Our new office in Coimbra strengthens our presence across Portugal, creating fresh opportunities for innovation and collaboration alongside our Lisbon headquarters in Caparica.
Team Adventure: The Alps
This year, the Magycal’s team swapped keyboards for hiking boots, heading to the Alps for a proper reset. Four days of trails, laughter, bonding, and for some, their first time seeing snow. We returned with fresh energy and sharper focus, ready to tackle the challenges ahead.
